Model Details
This is a fully parametric OpenSCAD model designed for the Parametric Model Maker. You can adjust the following parameters:
📄 Text Options
name: The displayed name (please use UPPER CASE for best results)
font: Select from a wide list of supported Google Fonts
font_style / advanced_styles: Pick from a wide range of available font weights and styles
textSize: Controls the vertical size of the text (in mm)
textThickness: Sets the depth of the extruded text
lineTextScaleOverwrite: Optional fine-tuning to control how much space a character takes up (auto-calculated otherwise)
extraOffset: Adds padding to the end of the bar for very long names
🧩 Geometry Settings
lineThickness: Thickness of the horizontal bar holding the text
glassThickness: Used to calculate the hook radius (half of this value)
hookRadius: Arc radius of the clip (auto-calculated from glassThickness)
hookLength: Vertical part of the hook
clip: Opening adjustment for the clip (controls how tight it grips the glass)
embeddDepth: Embeds the text slightly into the bar (for a seamless base)
🧱 Grid Layout (multi-tag printing)
countX / countY: Number of tags in X and Y direction (useful for group events)
spacingX / spacingY: Space between repeated name tags
Print Notes
The model prints flat – no support required
Clip is designed to be lightly flexible; use PLA or PETG for best results
