Hello everyone! Thought I'd have a go at the hiking competition, I'm still learning, so as always, any feedback is most welcome.

 

Fully printable (no additional hardware) ratcheting ground anchor/tent peg!

Tent peg is removable, I've also designed a hook that can clip in too, I'll add the hook as a print profile on it's own. There is also a tension release lever on top (the part that sticks out)

 

I designed it as a super simple way to tighten guy lines on a tent, feed the line through and tighten, works surprisingly well. I've also used it as a temporary way to fix washing line onto a pole using the hook attachment.

 

I printed it in PLA but I'm sure PETG would be a bit stronger but haven't tried it yet.

 

 

Also, makes a satisfying clicking noise as an added bonus

Line up the part as shown above and push in, will bend a bit but then should pop in.
