Description
Simple, clean, compact DIY alternative to commercial rear lights. I used a short piece of Bambu Lab 5 V 6500K white LED light strip (3 LEDs), but any standard LED strip should work. This light was designed for use with a Bafang motor kit, which provides a 6 V / 500 mA output for lighting. To safely power a 5 V strip, I used two 1N4007 diodes in series to drop the voltage to a ~4,8 V.
The housing is made up of four parts for easy printing, assembly and future modular upgrades:

Assembly Notes:
Assembling this light requires some basic soldering skills and equipment, LED strip, 2-wire cable (max ⌀ 3,5 mm), CA or epoxy glue, 20 mm M3 hex bolt, M3 nut and another M3 bolt + nut or zip ties for attaching the light to your bike. Check attached assembly guide.
