Description
Spring is here! And here in the Netherlands, tulip season is well under way. What better way to display your tulips (or other flowers) than in a traditional dutch stackable tulip vase!
Tulip vases originated in the Netherlands during the 17th century, and were traditionally decorated in the delfts blauw style. This design aims to mimic the traditional construction, featuring three separate, stackable vases. Each vase is individually filled with water. The design is embossed with a decorative floral pattern, inspired by Delfts Blauw. However you can also print the non-decorated version.
Print information:
The entire print uses around 900g of filament. You can reduce wall loops if you wish to save filament, but I have not tested if it's watertight with less. Throughout all of my test prints the design has been watertight, but each printer and filament are different so this is not guaranteed.
The entire vase is printed without support, however there are some steep overhangs. My printer was able to handle it without issue. However the decoration on the underside of the bottom section can print a little bit messy due to the overhangs. Bambu studio will give a warning about this but you can ignore it.
