Anti-Theft Phone Tag

This is a slim tag (0.7mm) that fits inside your phone cover and allows you to hang it with a carabiner or ring to your neck, your pocket or bag.

It's made for phone cases with a full enclosure around the charging port (see specific image in the photo gallery).

I printed mine in PETG, with a slow print to improve the resistence of the piece - see the difference in the outcome with 100% speed and 60% speed in the photo gallery: it's not just a matter of aesthetics, all those air bubbles present at normal speed weaken the print.

I think this model I designed is stronger than those I saw on sale on Amazon. I have a heavy smatphone and I don't want a flimsy tag to break and make my phone fall. Also, I am soon going to Barcelona and they say it's the world capital of pickpocketing: I'd like to take photos without anxiety!

The tag has an upper part because the ring part is extruded on one side, so be sure to print it with the protruding part upwards. The phone tag measures 60x50mm, with a 0.7mm height. It should fit most phones. If not, you can resize it a bit in the slicer or even cut it after the print. The best kind of covers to use this tag with are those made in silicon, because it's soft and resistant.

I recommend to use (slow printed) PETG or stronger materials for this tag. TPU is probably the best choice.
