A lush garden thrives on love and care, with plants receiving the nourishment they need. Composting is a simple, sustainable way to create nutrient-rich soil, turning food scraps and garden waste into valuable fertilizer for your plants.

A compost aerator/turner/screw is a simple yet effective tool used to aerate and mix compost in your compost bin or pile. By twisting it into the compost, you bring oxygen to the soil, helping organic material break down faster and more efficiently. And less smelly! Because regular turning is a part of preventing a rotting process that can happen when the compost gets to little air. Turning also creates richer, healthier soil <3

Composting not only reduces household waste, but also benefits nature by cutting down landfill use and lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Using a compost screw makes this eco-friendly process easier and more effective – good for your garden and great for the planet.

Why you should aerate/turn your compost pile!

  1. Accelerates decomposition and reduces composting time.
  2. Minimizes odors by promoting aerobic breakdown.
  3. Creates nutrient-dense, healthy soil for gardens.

Print and assembly instructions:

  1. Choose and print the 24 or 28mm version depending on what diameter of wooden shaft you have.
1.2 If you slice by yourself or planning on creating a new profile, do keep in mind that these parts require strength. Go for at least 5-6 layers and 25% infill.
  2. Cut the shaft to the right length and screw it in place with 2 screws on each printed part. I recommend that you predrill the shaft to prevent it from cracking.
