Description
I bring to MakerWold this simple Raspberry Pi Case to use with a 3.5" RPi Display that can be found on Amazon, Aliexpress, and other sites and only 29 grams (Supports Included and no hardware needed!)
You can either use the RPi Active cooler or not (For the Pi 5 I suggest you get one)
You can buy yours here on Amazon - Waveshare 3.5inch RPi LCD - 480x320
Want to know more about this display? Check out - LCD Wiki 3.5inch RPi Display
There are 3 different print profiles for this model so read carefully.
Follow the assembly instructions below (Note these are for the Rpi 5 but are exactly the same excluding the power button install)
| Press the Rpi into the designated posts. | |
| Your Pi will be secured by the posts designed to fit snugly against the mounting holes on the Pi. | |
| Press in the top case; this design ensures a tight fit that prevents the case from opening unintentionally, yet it's not so tight that it becomes impossible to open again. | |
| To install the 3.5" RPi Display, ensure the pins align correctly with the board. The fit around the top part of the display case should be snug, yet allow enough clearance for the ribbon cable. Simply press the display firmly into place. Additionally, the top section of the case features built-in support to prevent the display from bending. | |
| That's it! you are now done and can enjoy your Tini Desktop - A Pi Case! |
This LCD Module need install driver first.

If you don't know how to do that, you can refer to the Raspberry Pi office tutorial
Run:
Wait A Few Minutes, when the system reboot ok, you can see that.
This LCD can be calibrated using a program called xinput_calibrator
Install it with the commands:
Click the Men button on the task bar, choose Preference -> Calibrate Touchscreen.
Finish the touch calibration following the prompts. Maybe rebooting is required to make calibration active.
You can create a 99-calibration.conf file to save the touch parameters (not necessary if file exists).
Save the touch parameters (may differ depending on LCD) to 99-calibration.conf, as shown in the picture:
Execute the following command to rotate the screen by 180 degrees
After execution, the system will automatically restart, and the display screen will rotate 90 degrees to display and touch normally.
( ' 180 ' can be changed to 0, 90, 180 and 270, respectively representing rotation angles of 0 degrees, 90 degrees, 180 degrees, 270 degrees)
If the rotate.sh prompt cannot be found, use Step 1 to install the latest drivers
If you wish to remove the LCD-show directory and its contents entirely, after restoring the system, you can use the following command:
