Key Features
Effortless Cleaning A 4-part tray system (Front, Rear, Left, Right) that neatly catches debris, filament scraps, and dust inside your printer.
Quick, Tool-Free Removal Left and right trays are connected with smart filament hinges that fold slightly, allowing the entire tray set to be lifted out with ease.
No Tools Required Hinges are assembled using standard 1.75mm filamentโsimple and fast.
Secure Fit Locks firmly in place at multiple points to prevent movement during printing.
Dimensions & Compatibility
Designed to fit internal printer space measuring: 385mm (W) ร 295mm (D)
Confirmed compatible with Bambu Lab P1S
Likely compatible with other Bambu Lab models (X1 Carbon, X1E, P1P, X1) that share similar internal dimensions.
If you try this on a different model, please consider leaving a comment or review to share compatibility feedback!
โ ๏ธ IMPORTANT - Before You Print:
Measure your printer's internal dimensions to ensure they are at least 385mm (W) ร 295mm (D)
Print the Left Tray first as a test piece to verify proper fit before printing all components
If the test piece fits too tightly or won't install smoothly, consider using the Compact Version (380mm ร 290mm) profile instead
Individual printer tolerances may vary - choose the size that works best for your specific printer
Assembly Instructions
Print all four trays (Front, Rear, Left, Right) according to the recommended settings.
[Important] Identify the Trays: Before inserting the filament pins, please check the Front and Rear trays carefully. The Rear Tray has a specific cutout to avoid the protrusion inside the printer chamber. The tray with the cutout must be at the rear.
Cut two 295mm lengths of 1.75mm filament for the hinge pins.
Align the hinge holes between the trays:
Front tray connects to Left and Right trays
Rear tray connects to Left and Right trays
Insert the filament through the aligned hinge holes to create the pivot points.
Trim excess filament flush with the outer edge of the hinges.
Test the hinges by gently folding the left and right trays - they should move smoothly.
๐ก Tip: If the filament is difficult to insert, try cutting the end at a 45ยฐ angle for easier threading.
Installation Guide (Order Matters!)
Insert the Front Tray First Slide the front tray under the front door stop and hook it into the slot at the bottom front of the printer.
Install the Rear Tray After the front tray is in place, gently press the rear tray into position until it's seated flat.
Place Left & Right Trays Finally, press down the left and right trays so they sit flush with the bottom and secure the full set in place.
โ ๏ธ Important: Due to the front door stop, this specific order must be followed to avoid breaking parts.
Print Notes
Clean and degrease the build plate thoroughly before printing
Use the official textured PEI plate for optimal adhesion
These steps help ensure proper first-layer bonding and reduce failure risk
Before You Use
This tray is designed for a snug fit to prevent shifting. Minor adjustments (light sanding) may be needed due to individual printer tolerances or FDM print variations.
Do not force installationโthis can cause damage.
Double-check the following before using:
Is anything interfering with moving parts (print head, bed, etc.)?
Is the tray set fully seated and stable?
๐ Use at your own risk. The designer is not responsible for any damage caused by use or misuse of this model.
