Description
Keep in mind the filament has to be fed into the extruder from top of the spool. Doing it from bottom may cause it to tangle.
Bambu recommends for the softer filaments such as TPU to be fed without any PTFE tube directly into the extruder ( right nozzle ) of H2D printer. However there is no where for the spool to be mounted if you are feeding extruder directly because you need the spool to sit higher than printer for this to work properly. Instead of printing this big jig setup (refer the image), I designed a mount that locks into H2D's preinstalled spool holder dovetail styled wedge on the left side and holds the spool, like Bambu recommends it. Below image is from Bambu wiki on how they recommend softer filament to be fed.
My mount prints in 3 parts.
The whole setup has been tested by me extensively and is very sturdy when once you put it together the right way. Follow the images for reference.
