Magic Ball - Master the art of illusion

A sleek box, effortless handling, and a stunning visual transformation.
The magician places a ball inside, closes the box — and when it opens again, the ball has mysteriously changed color.
Crafted for smooth, confident performances, this trick is perfect for both aspiring magicians and seasoned professionals looking for a reliable and impressive illusion.

Functionality:
The trick with the changing ball works on the principle of a hidden mechanism inside the box. When the pin is inserted into the box, it moves the cartridge containing the balls. This movement causes one ball, which was previously hidden, to be revealed, while at the same time, the other ball is concealed. The mechanism is designed to be smooth and quiet, ensuring flawless execution of the trick and surprising the audience, who won’t be able to figure out how the ball disappears and reappears.

Assembly:

The tolerance between the two boxes will be very tight at first. However, after a few movements, the mechanism will settle, and the movements will become smooth. For me, the cartridge for the balls was a bit too loose and sometimes moved due to gravity. I didn't want to adjust the tolerance to make it completely immobile, so I used two strips of tape on the sides for fine-tuning (as seen in the GIF).

Each ball is made of two halves, which you must connect together using the printed pin without glue.
