Description
I was looking for a specific jar lid to cap off the particular Classico pasta sauce jar that you can see in the photo's, but couldn't find one. There are lots of Mason jar lids and while this is a Mason jar (16+oz Atlas Mason under label) it is not a continuous threaded one. The lid has four “tabs” that connect with four “quarter turns” (for lack of a better description) on the jar for a quick twist on and off.
The jar neck outside diameter, including threads, is 62mm and I have no idea if this is a popular size or not.
I spent a lot of time iterating my lid and it fits really nice. The one shown was printed in PETG although PLA could be used. In either material I certainly would NOT use it for canning or long term storage, and I doubt is entirely waterproof if stored upside down (a quick test was fine though).
So, if these jars are available to you and you want a nicer lid they can be used for craft or workshop storage, etc.
