Description
Build Your Own Minecraft Bee – Faster, Smarter, Cleaner!
The original articulated Minecraft bee by @kyda is an absolute masterpiece – cute, detailed, and full of character. Huge thanks and credit to the original designer for bringing this little flying friend to life! 🐝💛
But if you've ever tried printing it, you know the challenges: long print times, frequent filament swaps, and quite a bit of waste. That’s why I completely redesigned the model – to make it more accessible for everyone who wants to print and build their bee the Minecraft way.
Why this version?
🧱 Craft it like in Minecraft
Instead of printing the bee in one go, you print each part in its own color – just like gathering and combining resources in the game.
Wings, body, face, and stinger – you craft it piece by piece, then snap it all together.
⏱️ Fast results
The entire model prints in about 1 hour – thanks to optimized geometry and simplified parts.
🎨 Multi-color in one go (with AMS)
All parts can be printed together on a single build plate using an AMS (or similar multi-color system) – with minimal waste and perfect color separation.
🔄 Or no AMS? No problem!
Simply split the parts by color across different build plates. This way, you can still achieve the full look with any single-extruder printer – no filament swaps, no purging, no hassle.
🧩 Easy assembly
Parts are designed with tight tolerances to snap together securely – no glue needed for normal display use.
If you plan to use your bee as a keychain or expect more wear and tear, a small drop of glue is recommended to keep everything locked in place.

💡 Fun to build, fun to display
Whether you’re gifting it, adding it to your collection, or just love bees and blocks – this model brings Minecraft magic to life, your way.
