New version coming soon will include:
New attachments coming soon:
Upgrade your IKEA Skadis pegboard setup with this sleek headphone holder, purpose-built for function and style. Designed to accommodate headbands up to 60mm wide, it keeps your headphones safe, secure, accessible, and off your desk.
This model also features an integrated mini shelf – perfect for organising stray cables, adapters, or other small essentials that typically clutter your workspace. It also looks damn good, with headphones on, if I say so myself.
Assembly & Removal of Supports:
Supports
Each Skadis hook will have supports for obvious reasons. By now I would hope you have access to some needle-nose pliers so that you can accurately take them apart. It's a snug fit so sometimes, depending on your printer and filament used, you may get some of the interface layers of the support left over. Again, nothing needle nose pliers can't fix, take off what you can, and scrape the rest of.
Assembly
Assembly is super simple. Just put the rear tab of the shelf through the headphone mount's rear cut-out at an angle and slowly rotate the shelf until it nicely clicks into place.
Important Print Notes:
Don't change the orientation or supports unless you know what you're doing – For maximum strength, it is essential to print this model in the orientation provided in the downloaded print profile. Changing the orientation—especially printing it upright—can significantly reduce structural integrity due to filament layer direction, which is a limitation of filament-based 3D printing, not the design itself.
Not yet tested in PETG – while PETG may improve durability and flexibility, I may need to make slight tolerance adjustments to the model to account for PETG’s shrinkage characteristics.
