Decorative Crown for Bambu Lab A1 / A1 Mini

Every queen deserves a proper crown – even your printer! 

 

This fun decorative accessory is designed specifically for the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 Mini. It slides over the AMS Hub with a snug fit and stays securely in place. It’s a purely aesthetic add-on that gives your setup a unique and regal look.

 

   For an extra royal touch, I used small pieces of filament cut into tiny "gems" and pressed them into the gem slots. I recommend inserting the filament into the hole first and then snipping it. (TIP: If any discoloration occurs at the cut, a quick touch with a lighter will restore the color.) The gems stay firmly in place without glue, making it easy to personalize the look using your favorite filament scraps!

 

🛠️Instalation:

   Remove the PTFE tubes from the AMS hub, then slide the crown over. Inside the crown, there is a small alignment groove. Make sure this groove is facing the same direction as the bed movement (front to back) when placing the crown on your printer. This is designed to accommodate the raised letters on the front of the AMS Hub and ensures proper orientation and the best fit.
