Solaire of Astora is a Character in Dark Souls. He is an exceptionally skilled warrior who deliberately became Undead to journey to Lordran in search of a sun of his own. Solaire has become a fan favorite in the Dark Souls community due to his cheerful demeanor and memorable dialogue. Depending on the player's actions in Lost Izalith, Solaire will either be available as a summon to assist in the battle against the final boss, or his descent into madness and despair will lead to a tragic encounter where the player is forced to kill him.
