Where's The Water? - Amazing Magic Trick

Magically teleport water instantly from one jug to another. Once you know the secret, you can keep doing it again and again.  You get to decide if your friends are guessing correctly or incorrectly.  This is an amazing magic trick that you can repeat several times without giving away the secret.

How does it work? There is actually water in all three bottles.  You make them appear to be empty at the beginning of the trick, but they are not. As the act continues, the magician can decide if a bottle will pour water or not. The secret is in which way the bottle is tipped. Position the bottles so that the orientation mark is visible to you, as shown in the picture.  Now when you pick up the bottle with your left hand, nothing will pour out.  If you pick it up with your right hand, water will pour out when tipped. Just be sure to stop the trick before people notice the pattern.

I printed the bottles in 3 colors so it will be fun with young children.  They are sure they can remember where the water is!  You may prefer to print them all the same when performing for adults.  This will add an extra layer of confusion and make them think they need to just follow you more closely. The dynamics of the trick change when all bottles really are identical.

Advanced option: Rotate one of the bottles 180 degrees.  This will reverse the pour direction on this bottle and make the pattern much harder to spot. Just be mindful of which bottle is reversed.
