Black Widow Guitar V2.0

The model will need to be split to print on Bambulab printers. This is a significant remix of the original Black Window guitar, designed to actually be built. Changes include:

• A completely redesigned bridge with:
  • matched to a 25.5" scale length
  • screw holes added to support heat set inserts for the Wilkinson 54mm Saddle on Amazon.
  • heat set insert holes in the back to allow the backplate to be screwed on

  • improved hand pocket for more comfortable playing at the base of the neck

     

• Updated Guitar Lower with:
  • Adjusted geometry to accommodate the 25.5" scale length and match the new bridge

  • Holes and a slot to support 3 potentiometers and a 5 way switch. I used this set.

     

• Strap button mounts added to the Guitar Upper and Tail. Takes an M4 heatset insert and uses M4 countersink bolts. I used these.
• ¼" boat jack mount added to the Guitar Tail. I used this one from amazon.
• Updated Guitar Backplate with holes for M3 screws to mount to the guitar body.

Print Settings:

I printed mine in Silk PLA and it seems to do fine, but I recommend a minimum of PETG. Something stiffer like CF filament or ABS would be best. Printed with:

• 0.4mm nozzle
• 0.2mm layer heights
• Tree supports
• 80% or higher infill to give strength and weight
