Center Finder Tool With Cabinet Pull Marker

A novel tool design based around a scissor mechanism to quickly find the center of squares, rectangles and circular objects as well as scribe center lines. It also comes with a companion tool to mark the pulls on cabinet drawers faster than any tool currently on the market and a carry case to hold all the tools and parts (And even your sharipe!)

THERE ARE SEVERAL FILES TO CHOOSE FROM:

The main scissor center finding tool 

The companion kit for marking cabinet pulls in (2) variations

1. For if you have AMS/ multi filament printer that makes the numbers on the tool white or 
2. An alternate one color version where you can paint the embossed numbers with the included paint tool after printing

And Finally, a carry case in (2) versions

1. Hardware required version needs a 2.5mm brass/metal rod for hinge pin, M3 screws for hinge ends + (4) 3x6mm magnets for lid closure
2. A no hardware required version that uses raw filament as a hinge pin and has a modeled clip for lid closure

NOTES ON HARDWARE REQUIRED/ NOT REQUIRED

There are (4) 3x6mm magnets needed if you want the cabinet marking companion tool to nest inside the main scissor tool. That's the only hardware absolutely required for the pictured functionality of the kit, the rest is optional (like the magnetic version of the box, or the decorative screws on the hinges).

PRINT SETTINGS:

Any Hard Filament will work PLA, ABS, petg etc. The stiffer the filament the better to prevent any inaccuracies caused by flex at low extension (pla, pla-cf, pc-cf, nylon cf etc are ideal)

.4 nozzle works on all the parts

Supports required on the box only, tree slim works best

NOTES ON MAIN SCISSOR TOOL USE

The accuracy is incredibly good in most cases, I've noted less than 1/8th variation of perfect center after dozens of tests, HOWEVER, since the tool is made of plastic there is a flaw I discovered when the tool is less than 25% extended it can have flex/slop and be inaccurate if it's not extended very carefully, I believe this would be completely eliminated if the tool were made of aluminum or metal but it's just a drawback of the material you should be aware of when using the tool, luckily most uses of the tool are beyond 25% extension.

BUBBLE LEVEL INFO

The bubble level is optional and not needed for shown uses, however if you would like to add one it fits a 8x35 mm bubble level insert, you can buy them in bulk for cheap on amazon or ebay.
