Description
The A6M Zero was a long-range carrier-based fighter aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. Introduced in 1940, it was known for its exceptional maneuverability, range, and agility, especially in the early stages of the war. Designed by Mitsubishi, the Zero dominated Allied aircraft initially, but its lack of armor and self-sealing fuel tanks became major weaknesses as the war progressed and better Allied fighters entered service. Despite its vulnerabilities, the Zero remained in use throughout the war and became a symbol of Japanese air power.
This model is designed to be accurate to 1:72 scale and requires minimal assembly. This model also features upgrades over my previous ones, as it includes a built in antenna, a belly tank, and a more robust propeller. The belly tank may require some glue, as well as some trimming of the slot to include it.
Assembly is straightforward, and glue is optional. refer to the images to determine which landing gear goes where, as the left and right gear are similar.
Enjoy the model!
