I wanted to try my hand at making a roller bearing style large fidget spinner and I was sitting at my computer looking at my circular saw that I had just used for a home project and wanted to make something with geometric shapes but reminiscent of a saw blade.

 

Note: In testing, some filaments would spin great, and others would seemingly have more friction. If you find it doesn't spin that great, take some of the oil you use to lube your printer and lubricate the “rails” inside the spinner. It will spin much better that way.

 

No AMS?: I have included a two color print profile for those without AMS units. It has two programmed pauses at which point you manually swap in your second filament color.

Printing Notes

• ensure build plate is very clean for maximum adhesion
• .20 mm layer height
• Arachne wall generator
• 3 wall loops
• 25% gyroid infill
