Under-Desk 4-Part Laptop Shelf – Save Valuable Desk Space

I was constantly frustrated by how much space my laptop took up when I wanted to do anything at my workbench. I’d end up moving it to the kitchen counter, bed, or a chair - not exactly great options.. I needed a dedicated spot for it, or I was going to lose my mind.

After several prototypes and turning my desk into something resembling Swiss cheese, I finally came up with a working solution.

You'll need 8 screws, 3–4.5mm in diameter, and no longer than the thickness of your desk (I used 30mm screws myself).

Max. laptop height: 2.4cm 

Keep in mind: many desks (especially popular ones from IKEA like the Linnmon) are made from thin MDF and filled with cardboard. In those cases, I recommend using wall plugs (expansion anchors) for a more secure mount.
