Craft Your Wall Decor! My 3D Printed Minecraft Logo with Hanger Hooks!
Hey everyone!
Super excited to share my latest 3D model: a functional and decorative Minecraft logo that doubles as a hanger! Whether you want to hang keys, light jackets, or just show off your fandom, this print is for you.
I designed this with accessibility in mind, so you do NOT need an AMS (Automatic Material System) to print it in multiple colors!
Here's how it works and what makes it cool:
- Effortless Multi-Color: Each part is a separate STL, meaning you can print them in different filament colors without needing a fancy AMS setup. This also helps with faster print times!
- "Minecraft" Text Color Change: The "Minecraft" text itself is two colors. Don't have an AMS? No problem! Just insert a pause at layer 101 in your slicer and manually swap your filament. Easy peasy!
- Snug Fit (Mostly!): All the main pieces are designed to fit together nice and tightly for a sturdy build.
- Smart Name Design: I made the "Minecraft" text piece a bit looser on purpose. Why? So you can easily access the mounting screws behind it if you ever need to take it off the wall. For a firm hold once it's up, I recommend adding a small piece of tape to the back of the name before inserting it.
- Integrated Hooks: The main brown body has subtle hanger hooks built right into the back, making it instantly functional.
Assembly is straightforward:
- Attach the hanger hooks to the back of the brown body.
- Snap the green body onto the top of the brown body.
- Screw the assembled body firmly to your wall.
- Finally, slot the "Minecraft" name into the brown body (add tape if desired!).
A little printing tip: The brown body has some painted-on supports that are designed to come off with a satisfying peel!
I really hope you all enjoy printing and using this! Let me know if you have any questions or run into any snags – I'm here to help!
