Description
Got a bit tired of the messy setup on the back of the printer, and designed some cable supports that don't need screws or magnets.
Also got a bit carried away and designed a few different versions.
The PTFE tube on the right side, that goes to the printer, is free to move back and forth, but stays in the channel.
The cables and tubes keep everything in place, but I've added some double sided tape on mine to keep it a bit tidier.
To install the plate, you need to remove the two cables, and the left hand side PTFE tube. Then, remove the PTFE tube at the connector closest to the printer… feed that tube through the hole in the cable tidy plate, and then just reconnect everything.
I've had this running on two printers for about 20 prints each, and have had no issues.
There are different designs available, from 4, 3, 2 and 1 colour. The 1 colour basic version is by far the fastest to print… The Texas version is my favourite, and looks much better in reality than my awful photos….
The cables and tubes can still be removed with the standard little tools that are everywhere on Makerworld, but I've included a couple that fit slightly better with with this plate.
