Description

This is an ultralight glider with adjustable ailerons.

You can adjust them and the wings to achieve different flying effects or even tricks!

You don't need an AMS to print it with two colors! I have added a multicolor print profile with a pause so you can change the filament and then resume the print!

To print it in one color, just change the filament of the second color to the first filament type in the AMS profile (otherwise there will be a pause).

 

For best indoor flight, I recommend bending the wings and ailerons as shown in the pictures.

But every plane will be slightly different due to differences in the filament, its density etc. I recommend you print in PLA!

Don't give up if it doesn't work on your first try. You will need a few attempts to get it right! Fine tuning is the key.

Even very small adjustments will make a difference in flight!

bend the heck wings upwards and lift the ailerons of every wing. try to do it symmetrically!

 

Throw this plane horizontally and with a straight wrist.

Try to fly this glider with as minimal wind as possible.

You can fly it outdoors, if there is no or just little wind (try to throw it in the direction of the wind).

 

When removing this plane from the build plate, first let it cool down completely and be extra careful to not damage the wings!
