Description
This is a status monitor for Klipper that allows you see some basic info of prints in progress. It requires Moonraker to be running on your Klipper install and will pull the info from that over wifi.
PLEASE NOTE: This does not allow any functionality to control your printer from the screen, it will only display info. I have no plans to add any features like this. if you're looking for something that can do this, I recommend checking out BigTreeTech's Knomi screen.
It uses Seeed Studio's ESP32-C3 board and round display. The board mounts directly to the rear of the screen and no soldering is required in this project. The Arduino code sketch is included and only requires the user to add their network SSID and password to the sketch and the Klipper network address to connect. The text and background colours can be easily edited by changing the RGB values in the sketch.
The screen will display the following information:
WIFI strength
Progress percentage
Nozzle & bed temperatures - current/target
Layer - current/total
Printing status - printing/paused/completed
To assemble the printed parts the screen mounting requires 3x M2x8mm bolts. The front of the case mounts using 4x M2x16mm bolts. These go through the back of the screen mount, through the holes on the housing and screw into the back of the front cover. The rear cover slides into a slot. The base should be glued onto the bottom of the housing. You will also require a 90 degree USB cable. The plug on it should be around 15mm wide max.
