Description
This decoration is a replica inspired by the iconic symbol from the Japanese animated film "Akira", directed by Katsuhiro Otomo in 1988. It features a red circular frame with a red and blue capsule in the center, along with the text:
This design is especially famous because it appears on the back of the red jacket worn by Kaneda, the film's main character. It has since become one of the most recognizable symbols from the movie and manga.
The capsule itself references key themes of the story, including drug use, scientific experimentation, and psychic powers, all central to the plot of Akira.
This particular piece appears to be a stylized 3D version of the logo, mounted on a red circular base, meant to be displayed on a flat surface like a table.
It’s a striking collector’s item for fans of Akira, blending retro-futuristic design with a cult reference from Japanese cyberpunk culture.
I designed this decoration inspired by the film Akira to remind me of my early youth, being a fan of this mythical animated film. It will stand proudly on my desk!
This decoration can be mounted on its base or on the wall, and is designed for this purpose. The settings in the slicer were made piece by piece.
Hoping you like it as much as I do, you can leave me a like, which always encourages me to model and make new things!
