This rotating base is the perfect way to show off your stunning moon lamp.

Designed for use with the LED puck that comes with the Bambu Lab lamp kit and Tom Fullen's SVS NASA Moon Globe (100 or 90% scale)

edit: I now have a version with a motor to rotate automatically, you can find it here

The LED puck fits perfectly with the cable routed through the centre and out the back of the base.

Bearing (Optional)

The model was designed around the 6205 bearing which is big enough to allow the USB plug and switch to pass through the centre. I've included a print in place bearing on plate 2 (credit: KevinJarta)

After printing I found it spins pretty well without the bearing, so maybe give it a try without before printing the bearing.

Assembly

Assembly is very straight forward, assemble parts as shown below.

The bearing (if used) will be positioned correctly by the rails in the base and main body parts. You can add some lubricant to the bearing to improve smoothness.
Once assembled check that the bottom of part 1 is flush with the bottom of the base (part 4). If not, place on hard surface and push part 2 down hard and it should click into place. Also check that the cable notch in the bottom of part 1 aligns with the notch in part 4, if not, twist from the top to align.

Route the USB cable through from the top and position in notches.

Don't have the LED lamp kit?

If you don't have the LED lamp kit, you can buy the LED puck from AliExpress
