FAA Band - Remote ID + Registration Plate Mount for Lipo Strap

What this model does:

• Simplifies FAA compliance into one modular detachable component
• Slides onto a 20mm lipo strap
• Provides a flat mount point for a Remote ID module and FAA registration plate
  • Apply 3M tape or adhesive to mount point (or secure via other methods)
  • Attach Remote ID module (e.g. Dronetag BS Combo)
  • Secure FAA registration plate on top

Minimum FAA legal requirements:

• Register UAV with FAADroneZone:
  • Required for UAVs ≥ 0.55 lbs (250g)
  • 5$ fee
  • Renew every 3 years
• Registration number must be visible on drone exterior
• Remote ID required; built-in or broadcast module
• TRUST certificate required for recreational flyers

Model specs:

• Printed in TPU (other filaments should work)
• Raw print weight ≤ 1g
• Full setup (mount + Remote ID module + plate) ≈ 6g
