Description

This is a simple, effective in-line bench dog clamp designed for 3D printing. It’s made up of three printed parts and uses standard M6 hardware for assembly. Compatible with  20 mm dog holes, it provides reliable holding force for a variety of woodworking and hobby projects.

Key Features:

✔ Compatible with 20mm bench dog holes
✔ Requires only an M6 screw (40mm+) and nut
✔ Strong & durable – tested with PLA under heavy use, showing minimal wear
✔ Secure clamping – for best results, apply slight pressure by pinching the peg and pusher tip between your thumb and index finger while tightening

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Insert the M6 screw from the bottom of the peg, ensuring the tip protrudes fully through the top.
  2. Place the T-shaped pusher into the peg’s crown, with the thicker end facing downward.
  3. Insert the M6 nut into the knob.
  4. Screw the knob onto the bolt to secure the clamp.

A quick and practical solution for workbench clamping—print, assemble, and start working!

Update 23/03/2026: Reoriented peg part for horizontal printing, this aligns the layer lines perpendicular to stress points, significantly improving strength at the alignment pins and base when removing supports. Mounting hole geometry changed from circular to teardrop shape, the teardrop prints without supports inside the hole, eliminating the need to break them out and risk cracking the part

Happy printing! Let me know how it works for you. Check out also Ikea Skadis collection with my other models ;)
