Description
This model is based on a 3D scan of the Löwe sculpture located in front of a water basin at the former pulmonary clinic at Otto Wagner Areal in Vienna’s 14th district. The original dates back to 1907 and reflects Vienna’s early 20th-century architectural and sculptural style, blending neoclassical form with subtle art nouveau flourishes.
I imported the original .obj file into Bambu Studio, where I repaired the mesh geometry to ensure clean slicing and proper wall integrity. I simplified and scaled the design to maximize fit with A1, X1, and P1 printers, and modified the base to enhance print stability. I also optimized the support structure and infill settings, and re-oriented the figure to improve printability and reduce overhang challenges.
Printed in Elegoo Marble PLA using the Generic High-Speed PLA profile.
