Description
A pouring shield and ingredient funnel for KitchenAid stand mixers with 5-quart and 5.5-quart bowls. This cover snaps onto your mixing bowl and lets you add flour, sugar, liquids, or other ingredients while the mixer is running โ no more stopping mid-recipe, no more flour explosions, no more scraping down the sides every 30 seconds. The internal clearance has been adjusted so the beater, whisk, or dough hook won't strike the lid during operation.
If you've ever:
...then this pouring shield is for you. It's the #1 most useful KitchenAid accessory you can print.

Official KitchenAid pouring shields cost $25โ40 and often don't fit 5qt bowls properly (they're designed for 4.5qt or 6qt). This print costs ~$2 in filament and fits perfectly.

|---|---|
| Shield doesn't sit flush on bowl rim | Check that you're using a 5qt or 5.5qt bowl (not 4.5qt or 6qt). If correct size, scale model by 101% in slicer. |
| Beater hits the shield | You may have a non-standard beater. Try scaling the model by 102% vertically (Z-axis only). |
| Shield slides around during mixing | Add a thin bead of food-safe silicone around the rim contact area (optional). |
| Warped in dishwasher | You printed in PLA โ reprint in PETG for dishwasher use. |
