Need a durable hose clamp fast? This optimized design grips 1" hoses (25-40mm) tightly with an M12 knurled screw – no glue needed! Not for critical applications – test & help improve it!

 

🔧 The Plastic Clamp 
After rigorous testing, this 3D-printable clamp holds far tighter than expected – but it’s NOT a certified industrial replacement. Perfect for low-risk DIY projects, gardening, or prototyping!

✅ Key Features:
✔ Adjustable 25-40mm range – Fits standard 1" hoses
✔ No supports/brim needed (It is not necessary)
✔ Includes knurled M12 screw (or you can use regular M12 metal screws)
✔ Optimized for PLA (surprisingly outperforms PETG)

⚠ Critical Safety Notes:
• DO NOT USE for automotive, gas, flammable liquids, or high-pressure systems
• Industrial clamps undergo rigorous testing – this is a prototype
• Zero liability – use at your own risk for non-critical applications

🔧 Print Tips:
• Material: PLA recommended 
• Tolerances: Tight by design – may stiffen initially

 

⚠ Assembly Warning:
• Misassembly Risk: If the house part isn’t fully seated in the band’s groove before tightening, excessive force may crack the clamp.

Based on your feedback, I’ve added an alternate "house" part (hose_clamp_house-bigger_clearence.stl) with slightly looser tolerances.

Which to print first?
1️⃣ Try the original version – Most users report perfect function with PLA.
2️⃣ If assembly feels too tight, use the new "bigger clearance" house part.
