AMS Filament Label Bracket (The first print profile)

 

This bracket is designed to hold the excellent filament labels by Filament Dry Box Hinged Label (Go check them out!)

 

There are other brackets / holders to display these filament labels on the AMS however I found them to be too intrusive, hiding portions of the AMS that I still want to see. For example, I want to see the AMS filament led that blinks to display which filament is currently in use. I also want to see my lovely desiccant boxes ('cus they look so nice! 🤣)

 

This bracket takes only 14grams of filament and prints in 30minutes!

 

It push-fits onto and behind the lid catch and does not require glue or unscrewing of any parts. I am currently using this system for many months without issue. Even when the AMS lid is fully open, the labels stay in place and do not fall off.

 

The Second Print Profile

The second print profile was developed because of a request by @ScubaPilot. This has prompted the redesign of this bracket to facilitate the filament labels used in Utopia 4L Cereal Box  

 

These labels…

These labels can be slid sideways into the clip or pushed onto the clip from the front giving a very satisfying ‘CLICK’. They fit snug but can still slide sideways for positioning or removing.
