Description

This angled stand is made to hold your Nintendo Switch OLED dock at just the right tilt so you can easily insert or remove it, even when it's placed inside a cabinet that only opens from the front. That’s exactly the situation I had at home, and sliding the dock in and out without knocking over other stuff was a pain.

By giving it a slight angle and raising it just a bit, the dock becomes much easier to grab, and if you place it in front of your TV, the screen stays fully visible — no more dock hiding the bottom edge of the display.

The stand prints easily in PLA (that’s what I used), and there's no problem with heat — it stays cool in regular use. I also designed small feet to be printed in TPU and attached under the stand. These are important: without them, the dock can slide a bit when you push or pull the console. With them, everything stays nicely in place.

I fixed the feet on with double-sided tape — specifically Tesa 61395 (the same stuff used in phone repairs), but any good quality thin double-sided tape should do.

Printing notes:

  • Main stand: PLA or PETG, 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, no supports
  • Feet: print in TPU or any flexible filament

Let me know if you remix it or adapt it — I'd love to see how others use it in their setups!
