Description
This is a guide for feeding out of a Sunlu S2 filament dryer. The existing hole in the lid didn't direct the filament in the way it should. I wanted a smoother transition coming off a roll and to the printer. Since my primary use for the dryer is for printing ASA or TPU from the dryer I wanted it running through a PTFE tube as well. This guide has a PC4-M6 Pneumatic Connector threaded into it to connect the PTFE tube. This is printed in ASA-CF due to the higher temps from the dryer.
This does require modification to the lid of the dryer. Use a Ø5/16" drill bit to enlarge the existing hole but at a straight vertical angle. The threaded knob is split in half for strength and will need glued together. You can thread the components together while drying the glue but be careful not to get them glued together.
