IKEA LÄTTHET wheel adapter

This 3D printed adapter allows you to attach Amazon wheels to the LÄTTHET screw-in feet used on many IKEA furniture pieces, like SMÅSTAD / PLATSA. It’s a simple yet effective solution to add mobility to your furniture using easily accessible components.

The design requires:

• 16 × M4 x 10mm screws
• 16 × M4 nuts

The nuts are inserted into tight-fitting slots within the adapter. While the fit may seem narrow at first, tightening the screw from the opposite side forces the nut into place, ensuring a secure hold and a strong connection between the caster and the IKEA foot screw.

Important note:
For best results, print this model in PETG instead of PLA.

PETG offers higher strength and durability, especially under stress, and will help prevent the adapter from cracking when the nuts are pressed into place or when the wheels are in use.
