Model Details
Model should be compatible with most standard UK, US and EU light switches, although I cannot guarantee it will fit every light switch out there! All parts and plates are labelled so assembly should be pretty straightforward.
For the screen I printed an image on plain paper then used some clear sheet acetate over the top to give it a glossy screen effect. You can find the image I used in a PDF thats in the ‘Documentation’ section.
The model has sufficient room inside to accommodate LEDs, LED light strip and a small power supply if you wish to back light the screen, square switches and power tubes. Refer to the image below for an example of what I did/used.
Please ensure your printer is calibrated correctly and has good bed adhesion to avoid any warping of the larger parts as they do cover most of the build plate of a A1, PS1 and X1C.
A small amount of grease on the the rail for the door is advised just to ensure smooth operation.
