10 Inch Rack 1U 2x 3.5 HDD Mount

This is a Remix inspired by and combined from these two models:

• 10-inch Rack Mount Hard Drive Cage by pierrejc0
• 10 Inch Rack Vent Panels by n3rding

I didnt like how most 10" Rackmounts use caddys from Dell or HP, most people wont change their drives regulary to get any use out of hotswapping capabilities. But nobody published a 1U caddy-less version, so here we are. After some feedback, I now added some reinforcement and shortened the design.

 

Recommended to print in PETG, ABS or other heat-resistant material.
PLA might be fine, but I woudnt risk it.

 

What I changed:

• fixed the mesh of the drive cage
• changed the size to 1U instead of 3U
• removed useless screwholes in the middle
• edited the front plates to hide the holder behind
• shorter holders left and right (images show older version)
• added reinformcement
