Simple Turntable

From scanning to general display, this turntable will help you manage your crafting projects. It comes in 2 sizes (for the platform), 245mm for the A1, X1, P1 and 295mm for the H2D. It is fully printable, so no need to print and buy extra parts. However, please note, printed bearings and bushings are not as smooth as metal ones, so mange your smoothness expectations. But they both should spin relatively well. The platform is fairly stable and will hold a reasonable amount of weight, making it very robust. 

 

NOTES: 

For quicker printing, you can use a 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzle. I found the 0.8mm effective halved the print time and worked fine without additional modifications. However note, if you do use a 0.8 nozzle, there is no need to keep a 2 wall print. A single wall will save time and material. 

 

Each platform comes with a set of tabs to keep the platform attached to the base. However they add a little bit of friction and are a little fiddly. If you choose, you can sand them down or break them off to make it easy to switch between the two platforms. The cylindrical section below the tabs will slip in to the base and hold the platform in place and freely come off and go back in. But note, if the tabs are trimmed or removed you will no longer be able to pick up the turntable by the platform (as it will separate).

 

Also note, the bearing/bushing, will be a relatively tight fit. Just make sure it is seated flat, and push it in.
