Description
This speaker stand is designed for compact desktop speakers with a base size similar to the Kanto YU2 or the Audioengine A2+ (approx. 13×10 cm).
Originally inspired by the official YU2 stand by Kanto (blueprint available on their website), I attempted to replicate its angled shape (16° tilt) while reinforcing hidden parts. However, when printed in standard PLA or PETG, the stand tended to flex under the speaker’s weight, reducing the intended tilt.
To overcome this, I designed a more rigid, open-frame structure that maintains the correct angle under load.
Two versions are available:
The speaker shown in the photos is an Audioengine A2+, which shares the same base size as the Kanto YU2.
Keep in mind that the ideal speaker angle is the one that aims the drivers directly at your ears. This stand is designed for speakers placed to the sides of a typical PC setup, directing the sound upwards and toward the listener.
Optional TPU pads are included for both models. You can either glue them directly onto the stands or use them as templates to cut your own pads from felt or rubber. Depending on your speaker and desk surface, padding may not be necessary. In my case, the speaker base is already rubberized, so I only use the small felt pad where the back of the speaker rests.
Let me know if you need a different size for different speakers, I'm open to add more profiles if needed.
