BBQ Gift Box

Barbecue shaped gift box!

Fully working print in place hinges.  The lid opens revealing a space to hold gift cards, small items like candy or chocolates, and small gifts. Interior dimensions of the box are  67.5 mm x 57 mm x 50mm  (H x W x D).  I originally made this for my father for father's day, but this can be used for a number of applications.

 

There are two versions.  One with supports, and one without.  

• I recommend the version with supports (inside the box and around the hinges). Initially, you may need a knife to break the support to open the lid (knife between the base and lid), but supports should be relatively easy to remove once it is open.  Just be gentle.  
• The unsupported version requires bridging and may be an issue, depending on the printer (mine did the bridge well, but still had more stringing than i'd like).  I know some people don't like supports, but suggest the supported version instead.  Use this one at your own risk.
