Description

A bolt action pen with design inspired by Luke Skywalker's lightsaber. It uses the standard Pilot G2 insert widely available.

I've printed it both with Glow Green filament for the “light” part, and the Matte Grass Green, they look similar in daylight but of course the glow filament gives a much cooler effect in dark environments!

Instructions

Step 1: Gather the needed parts, a PILOT G-2 07 pen, the printed parts, and some glue.

Step 2: Disassemble the PILOT G-2 07 pen. Don't loose the spring, you'll need it!

Step 3: Insert the ink cartridge and the original spring into the printed piece. The assembled piece should look like the second photo.

Step 4: Align the bolt and the cap such that the hole in the bolt will be fully visible after insertion, see second photo.

Step 5: Place a small amount of glue on the tip of the second part of the bolt. And insert it carefully into the hole of the bolt that is now inside the cap. Make sure to insert it with SHORT end towards the top, and the LONGER end towards the front.

Step 6: Screw the two assembled parts together.

Step 7: Verify the functionality.
