Description

Intention: I Made this planter intending to make a safe and out of the way place to grow cat grass, since my orange blob is always demolishing the greens on sight. I sized it to fit in my 78mm Window while closed so he cant access it unless I allow / supervise him! This is ideal for most plants as they'll never be blocked even if you close your shades :)

Parts + Printing : The Base is engraved with a cubed design to keep it looking pretty for any nosy neighbors

Dirt insert made to slide in its respective side

Lid is press fit so make sure you know your tolerances

Level Indicator which I forgot to picture will be there, just make sure not to print this solid as it functions off of buoyancy

Some supports will be printed inside the base you'll need to remove before use

IMPORTANT: I printed everything at 92% to fit my 78mm window, measure the space between your window and screen hop in your slicer and scale accordingly.  - Please share your print profiles if you changed the size and upload for others!

Self Watering Aspect - I made several small holes as inlets at the base of the dirt cup to absorb the water through the reservoir, I recommend using a thin wicking material in between the dirt cup and base to prevent excessive moisture and slow the absorption!

Acrylic Yarn will work best for wicking as its thin and shouldn't rot due to its acrylic blend.
