Heart Tab Gift Box Assembly Guide

Create this elegant petal-inspired gift box with ease by following these steps. You many need to flex and pull on the sides a bit to allow the hearts to insert and lock into the slot. No glue or adhesive is needed.

1️⃣ Prepare The Print

• You can use a holographic build plate to add to the beauty of the gift box. The one I made for the pictures has holographic circles. 
• Make sure your build plate is clean and bed is levelled properly.
• Keep the speed down and extrusion a little more than usual for the best effect.
• Ensure all parts are printed smoothly, free of imperfections.
• Verify fit by dry-assembling before securing connections.

2️⃣ Gently bend one petal with the slot along the fold lines to a 90 degree angle

3️⃣ Slide the heart tab of one side into the slot on the side that you just folded up by 90 degrees.

4️⃣ Repeat for the second heart tab side into the same slot.

5️⃣ Insert your gift into the box.

6️⃣ Fold up the remaining side and insert both heart tabs into that slot.

7️⃣ Give the gift box to the recipient.
