Description
Don't let the profile confuse you, it only takes about 12 minutes to print the ring and about 10 minutes to print the spinner on my A1 mini. I'm working on a single-color print in place (PIP).
In Taoist cosmology and the I Ching, bagua refers to the eight trigrams (three-line symbols) that represent fundamental principles of the universe. These trigrams have correspondences in various aspects of life, including divination, astrology, and martial arts.
I designed five US sizes (12.5 = 21.5mm ID (inside diameter), 10 = 20mm ID, 8.5 = 18.5mm ID, 6 = 17mm ID, 4 - 15mm ID) on separate plates, each containing the "ring" and "spinner," as well as a spinner print plate. The colors can be customized according to your preferences. I had to add a disc to the spinner print plate to ensure the profile passes; please remove it before printing. A separate print plate for the spinner was required due to a suspected malfunction in Bambu Studio's pause function.
To print, MOVE the spinner of your chosen size to the spinner print plate, after deleting the temporary disc, and proceed with printing. Once the spinner is printed, print the ring part on its ORIGINAL PLATE. During this process, there will be a pause to stop the print, allowing you to place the spinner onto the ring. Afterward, resume printing, and the ring will complete its printing with the spinner attached.
Adjustments can be made if a different size is required. Ensure that both the ring and the spinner are scaled to the same percentage and remember to change the pause location accordingly. Should assistance be needed, please feel free to reach out.
