IKEA Alex Cabinet Wheel Lock – Felt Pad Compatible

A practical 3D-printed wheel lock designed for the IKEA Alex office cabinet. It stops the cabinet from rolling by securely blocking the caster wheels in place.

The part is shaped to press against the wheel and hold it firmly. A 2 mm thick felt pad should be added underneath to increase friction with the floor — improving grip and preventing movement even on smooth surfaces like laminate or tile.

 

Printing Tips:

• Print flat with the open side facing up.
• Use 2 mm thick self-adhesive felt, trimmed to fit.
• No tools required — just slide it under the wheel.
• Works great for stationary use of mobile office cabinets.
