Meine Sohn wollte eine Box für seine neue Switch 2, in der er die Konsole, Ladegerät, Kabel und alle Spiele Transportieren kann.

Gesagt getan, hier das Ergebniss:

 

Die Einsätze neben den Controllern sind austauschbar, somit bleibt jedem selber überlassen, welche zusätzlichen Inserts er benutzt.

Die Datei “Insert-Plug-EU-Final” passt nur für den Originalen Ladstecker der EU-Variante, da ich auch nur diese zum abmessen zur Verfügung hatte!

Den Deckel der Box gibt es einmal ohne Logo, und einmal mit Logo.

 

Im Deckel sollte noch Platz für ein dünnes Microfasertuch sein, um den Display noch mehr zu schützen.

Ich selbst empfehle aber trotzdem, einen Bildschirmschutz aufzutragen.

 

Alles wird komplett ohne Supports gedruckt!

Als Material habe ich mich für PLA entschieden, abgesehen bei den Verschlüssen, die sind aus PETG gedruckt, wegen der Flexibilität.

PETG sollte aber natürlich auch für den Rest einwandfrei funktionieren.

 

Die Verschlüsse halten einwandfrei, und brechen auch nicht so schnell. Sollten sie dennoch brechen, empfehle ich relativ hartes TPU.

 

Für die Verschlüsse und die Scharniere werden insgesammt 6 Stück M3x30 Schrauben benötigt.

Ich hatte eine ähnliche Box für seine Switch 1 erstellt, diese benutzt er auch seit Jahren, ohne das Schäden an seiner Konsole entstanden sind. 

Leider habe ich die Dateien dafür nicht mehr, bin aber gerade dabei, diese neu zu modellieren.

 

Das die Box wasserdicht ist, glaube ich nicht, auch wenn eine Dichtung eingesetzt ist, da sie nur aus PLA ist, bei anderen Materialien ist es gut möglich, kann ich aber nicht garantieren. :)

My son wanted a box for his new Switch 2 in which he could transport the console, charger, cables, and all his games.

No sooner said than done, here's the result:

 

The inserts next to the controllers are interchangeable, so it's up to each individual to decide which additional inserts to use.

The file “Insert-Plug-EU-Final” only fits the original charging plug of the EU version, as this is the only one I had available to measure!

The box lid is available with or without the logo.

 

There should be room in the lid for a thin microfiber cloth to further protect the display. I personally recommend applying a screen protector anyway.

 

Everything is printed completely without supports!

I chose PLA as the material, except for the latches, which are printed from PETG for flexibility. But of course, 

PETG should work perfectly for the rest of the parts as well.

 

The latches hold perfectly and don't break easily. Should they break, I recommend relatively hard TPU.

 

A total of 6 M3x30 screws are required for the latches and hinges.

I created a similar box for his Switch 1, which he's been using for years without causing any damage to his console.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the files for it, but I'm currently in the process of remodeling it.

 

I don't believe the case is waterproof, even with a seal, since it's only made of PLA. It's quite possible with other materials, but I can't guarantee it. :)
