Description

A 3D statue of a mechanical eagle captured in a dynamic attacking pose, wings fully spread and talons outstretched. Designed in a sleek mecha style, the model features angular plating and sharp geometric detailing that perfectly complements the rest of the mechanical creature series.

This sculpture delivers a strong visual impact and works great as a standalone display piece or part of a collectible lineup. The dynamic movement and aggressive stance make it ideal for printing in matte black filament, with optional highlights such as painted eyes (e.g. silk or fluorescent).

Technical Info

  • Two printing options included:
    • Separated eagle and pedestal, to glue together after printing (recommended)
    • Eagle already mounted on pedestal, for single-block printing
  • Optimized for FDM printing
  • Recommended height: 8–12 cm
  • Printed at 0.20 mm layer height
  • Test print: Bambu Lab H2D with eSun Black PLA + Silk Gold for the eyes

Print Notes

To achieve a more dynamic, mid-air effect, the contact area between the eagle and the pedestal has been intentionally reduced while keeping the weight distribution balanced.
Just two drops of glue are enough to secure it firmly.

If you choose to print the attached version, make sure to remove the supports under the talons carefully.
Even in the event of an accidental break during support removal, the design prevents critical damage and allows for an easy fix with glue.

This model has been personally 3D printed before publishing to ensure optimal printability, structural balance, and visual impact. Every pose is tested to make sure the concept works smoothly in real life — what you see is exactly what you can print.

For best results, I recommend using tree supports and paying attention when removing delicate areas like claws or wings. In some cases, you may find it useful to glue the model to its base for added stability.

If you encounter any issues during printing, feel free to contact me — I’ll be happy to help or improve the file if needed.

If you enjoyed the model, consider giving it a BOOST — it helps me keep creating and sharing high-quality, print-tested models for free.
