This is a 3D-printed TV mount designed for VESA 300x300 compatible TVs. It securely clamps to your desk and holds the TV vertically above it. Designed with structural stability in mind, the frame uses truss-style side panels and a sturdy base system.
I printed it using Bambu Lab ABS for strength. PETG should also work, but may introduce a bit more wobble. PLA is not recommended due to its tendency to deform under load over time.
Â
Printing Notes:
- Increase the wall Count to at least 4
- Does not need supports
- Use Gyroid or another 3 dimensional infill pattern
- Bottom and top layers to at least 6
Â
Assembly Notes:
- The mount consists of:
- A base that clamps to the desk
- Two main side panels attached to the base
- Optional additional side panels for height extension
- Top frame parts and a VESA backplate
- The whole structure is bolted together using:
- 40x M6x25 screws and nuts
- Printed clamp screws (included) to secure the base to the desk
- Designed for table thickness up to 35mm. If your table is under 30mm, you may need to remix the clamp screws.
- An optional spacer can be added between the side panels for improved torsional stability, but it's not strictly necessary.
In Use:
I've been using this mount for several weeks with a Xiaomi Mi TV, and it works well. It holds the TV securely, though there is minor wobble if the screen is bumped—acceptable for everyday use.
