Description

HUMISHIELD - MOISTURE VAULT

Project Description

These 3D printable airtight containers are designed to keep your filament dry while it's mounted on

the Bambu Lab AMS Lite. With a compact, modular design, they minimize filament exposure to

moisture, improving print quality and reducing issues like stringing, bubbling, and inconsistent

layers.

 

Features

- Fully compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS Lite

- Modular design 

- Airtight sealing using printed TPU gasket

- Big container for desiccant packs (silica gel beads)

- Mount for humidity sensor

- Support-free printing 

- Easy integration with PTFE tubing

 

Print Settings

- Recommended Material: PETG or ASA for moisture resistance

- Layer Height: 0.2 mm

- Infill: 15%

- Supports: Not required (with correct orientation)

- Mirror the main body to have the ptfe connector oriented correctly ( 3-1 and 2-4 )

Note

  • It is recommended to use a piece of PTFE tube to connect the dry box to the AMS in order to keep it in place ( this project will fit perfectly https://makerworld.com/en/models/514558-ams-lite-feeder-ptfe-tube-connector-saver#profileId-430689 )
  • Use superglue to fix the round TPU gasket on the main body container
